As a young teacher, he guided me for four years (1974 to 1978).  A fine gentleman.  I started out making 8,000 dollars per year and since Jack was now the Athletic Director, he would get me part-time jobs like taking tickets, keeping girls and boys basketball scores and coaching girls softball.  He even hired my wife as the female lockerrom attendant when I coached girls sports.  This effort, by Jack to help me earn more money, allowed me to feed my family and pay the mortgage.  I will never, ever forget this great man who went out of his way to be kind to my family and I.  He lives on for eternity.  God bless him and hold him in the palm of HIS hand.
